There’s something beautifully unapologetic about “Ode To Them" feat. Tom Landkroon. From the first seconds, AnomiC doesn’t ease you in, they throw you straight into the pit!
The track roars open with riffs that feel like they’ve been sharpened on concrete. Tight, aggressive, and absolutely zero interest in playing nice. The drums hit like controlled demolition, while the guitars grind forward with that gritty, modern metal punch that grabs your collar and refuses to let go.
And the vocals? Raw. Commanding. The kind of delivery that sounds like it was carved out of frustration, loyalty, and battle scars rather than studio polish.
“Ode To Them” isn’t just noise for the sake of heaviness. There’s intention here. The song carries the weight of tribute, whether to fallen allies, personal demons, or the ghosts we keep marching with. It feels like a battle hymn for the misfits and survivors. From their new album "The Spider's Code".

Production-wise, everything lands where it should: thick guitars, pounding rhythm section, and just enough chaos to keep the blood pressure up. It’s heavy without turning into a muddy wall of sound, a balance many bands try to hit but few actually nail.
Simply put: AnomiC didn’t write a song. They lit a fuse.
And live? This thing is going to wreck neck muscles.
AnomiC- "Ode To Them" -8/10!!
Upcoming shows (bring earplugs… or don’t)
You won’t have to wait long to experience the chaos in person:
March 20 — Musicon with Sabiendas and Stigmatized

The week after 28/3/2026— Café ART de Vortn Vis together with Follow The Hunt and Scorner
Two gigs. Two chances to see whether “Ode To Them” hits even harder live and if history tells us anything about bands like AnomiC, the answer is probably yes… and louder.
