“Three Bands, One Wreckage, One stage... Musicon Burned”!!!!

Friday, March 20/ 2026, what started as a beautiful spring day slowly turned into something that felt almost cursed. Endless traffic jams, a massive industrial fire, and alarms on waze everywhere, and just about everything short of an almost biblical plague of locusts… it honestly felt like the universe was testing everyone’s patience.
But after some delay, the night finally kicked off at Musicon Den Hague.
First up to open the night: Stigmatized. And das ist Wahnsinn!!! Completely caught me off guard, an unknown band to me, but make no mistake, this hidden German gem is absolutely not to be underestimated.

From the moment they stormed the stage, the tone was set. No hesitation. Straight into neck-breaking headbanging territory. Razor-sharp guitar riffs, pounding drums, and a vocalist with an absolutely monstrous voice tearing through the venue. It was raw, it was brutal, it was glorious.

An outstanding performance by a band that won’t stay “unknown” for long, mark my words, you’ll see them pop up again. From V’s Metal Media: a solid 8/10. And a massive thank you to Stigmatized for the insane show, you guys didn’t just play, you wrecked the place (in the best way possible).

Next up, a band I had been waiting for, and was more than ready to stand in line for:“AnomiC, also a band not to be underestimated and one that won’t remain ‘unknown’.”
The Amsterdam-based outfit started slow… like a predator watching its prey. Calm, calculated, until they struck with full force. And when they did, it hit hard.
Tracks like “Opacity,” “End The Plague,” “This Blood Is Mine,” and “On Deaf Ears” all made an appearance. They even dropped “Ode To Them” from their latest album The Spider’s Code. The crowd? Completely losing it.
And then there’s drummer Robin, casually throwing a towel over his face and still playing like it’s nothing. Blind. Effortless. Like he could do it with one hand tied behind his back.
Ridiculous.

A small bittersweet note: bassist Wael Blakk will be leaving the band. So yeah, if you’re a killer bassist (male or female), this might just be your shot to join something serious.

“And with a voice only Vadim can command, backed by Raaf’s crushing grunts and the razor-sharp riffs of Mo and Wael, solid as standing with your feet set in concrete.”

Absolutely crushing. Tight, aggressive, and fully in control. A band that knows exactly how to build tension and then detonate it in your face. AnomiC - 8,5/10
Last but definitely not least: Sabiendas.
They came in and just obliterated whatever was left standing. No survivors.
With Jan’s commanding vocals, the fierce guitar work of Alex and Christian, the low-end thunder from bassist F.T., and Toni absolutely demolishing the drums, this was pure controlled chaos. It hit hard, it hit fast, and it didn’t let go.

The previous bands already knew how to push the night to its peak, but Sabiendas made damn sure the ending hit like a sledgehammer. With their new album “Puppeteer Of Doom,” they delivered a finale that didn’t just meet expectations, it crushed them.
Expectations for Friday night were high… but these three heavyweights didn’t just live up to them, they tore them apart and left the pieces on the floor. Sabiendas- 8,5/10
